Admission Policy
            
            
            
                K P Asati Public School is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary
                Education (CBSE) and follows a secular, inclusive, and progressive approach to
                education. We aim to nurture students who uphold the values embedded in our
                mission statement.
            
            
            General Principles
            
                - 
                    Admissions are open to all, regardless of caste, creed, religion, gender, or
                    socio-economic background, as per CBSE norms.
                
- 
                    The school is co-educational and ensures gender balance with at least
                    40% representation of each gender in every section.
                
- 
                    All admissions shall strictly comply with CBSE's policy on age
                    appropriateness, capacity, and transparency.
                
Admission Procedure
            
                Admissions are available for Classes Play House, Nursery, LKG, UKG to
                Class X. Each class section will be limited to a maximum of 30 students, in
                accordance with the recommended pupil-teacher ratio.
            
            
            Steps:
            
            
                1. Registration:
                
                    Parents must complete a Registration Form (available online or at the
                    school office). If downloaded, the form must be submitted with a Demand
                    Draft (DD) of the prescribed amount.
                
                
                    Note: Registration does not guarantee admission.
                
             
            
            
                2. Document Submission:
                
                    - Birth Certificate (attested copy)
- Aadhar Card of the child (if available)
- Previous class report card (if applicable)
- Transfer Certificate (for Classes II and above)
- 2 recent passport-sized photographs
 
            
            
                3. Verification and Interaction:
                
                    - 
                        For Pre-Primary: Informal interaction with the child and parents to
                        assess readiness.
                    
- 
                        For Primary and above: Interaction and basic assessment (not
                        entrance exam), only to understand academic level – in line with
                        CBSE's emphasis on non-discriminatory practices.
                    
 
            
            
                4. Merit and Availability-Based Admission:
                
                    A merit list is prepared based on interaction, registration order, and seat
                    availability. A formal offer letter is issued accordingly.
                
             
            
            For Pre-Primary Admissions
            
                - 
                    Interaction with the Head of Pre-Primary is mandatory for child and
                    parents.
                
- 
                    Assessment focuses on developmental milestones, language, social
                    behavior, and parental involvement.
                
- 
                    If selected, admission is confirmed with a formal letter.
                
Rules and Seat Matrix
            
                - 
                    Each class will have 3 sections (maximum 30 students each).
                
- 
                    Gender balance is maintained with minimum 12 boys and 12 girls in
                    each section.
                
- 
                    Admissions close by June 30 every year.
                
Important Note
            
                - 
                    Registrations are open year-round.
                
- 
                    For ongoing admissions, registration closes 24 hours before the
                    scheduled interaction.
                
- 
                    For Pre-Primary, registration closes 48 hours before the meeting.
                
- 
                    Admission will be subject to seat availability and completion of all
